 Singapore, 18th May 2022: An entertainment lawyer was ordered to be fired after he abused three women in 2018. Singapore’s court-ordered Samuel Seow Thung Beg, an entertainment lawyer, to be fired. Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon delivered the judgment on behalf of three judges. Samuel was a lawyer for 20 years. The judge said that Samuel should not have committed such a shameful act as he was a solicitor. Samuel’s disgraceful behavior has also discredited him as a lawyer, and all those in the profession. The Law Society of Singapore initiated an investigation into Samuel in February. They urged the court for further investigation and investigations have continued ever since.
